“Little Arthur’s History of England” shows the life of a Nanny and her charge in the nursery of a big house during the days and nights of September 1939. It is written and directed by Dorset based Peter John Cooper and performed by well-known Dorset actress Trisha Lewis. Today the play has a special relevance and poignancy....When it was first performed, The Oxford Mail said it was an “An astonishing piece infused with warmth, humour and Melancholy”.
