It is written and directed by Dorset based Peter John Cooper and performed by well-known Dorset actress Trisha Lewis. Today the play has a special relevance and poignancy....When it was first performed, The Oxford Mail said it was an “An astonishing piece infused with warmth, humour and Melancholy”. “Little Arthur’s History of England” is a play of knockabout humour, melancholy, pathos and melodrama.
