'A Midsummer Night's Dream' in the grounds of Christchurch Priory Tuesday 14th July to Sat 18th and then Tues 21 to Sat 25th - 7.30pm.  I am playing the crucial but miniscule role of Hippolyta ( in what way crucial I am still thinking about!?!?).....  a good cast and a fun play in a stunning setting!

If you get the tickets off me they are cheaper!

Joyce Genfell Sketches

Anyone over the age of about 45 (?) is likely to remember the wonderful Joyce Grenfell.  In fact,  those a little younger than this might have seen the St Trinians films and recognise the name from there - or seen Maureen Lipman performing the work of Joyce Grenfell.  Frankly - if you are NOT familiar with her and her work then you jolly well should be!!!

Trisha was inspired to work on her Joyce Grenfell shows after a casual comment by her Dad.  He had just seen her in her one-woman show 'Saving Time' and mentioned to a friend of Trisha's that he thought she was rather like Joyce Grenfell!  When Trisha later heard this comment repeated back to her - well - the cogs starting whirring!  That was the start of a highly successful and totally enjoyable series of Joyce Grenfell shows put on by Trisha and her accompanist .  These shows toured nationally both in full scale and studio theatres as well as in a vast array of village halls up and down the country.  The shows were highly acclaimed and were described by the media as 'a tribute and a triumph'.

Trisha can offer the Joyce Grenfell Sketches as part of an evening's entertainment - with or without the songs!  Sketches such as the famous 'nursery school' ( George - don't do that!) pieces, the old worrier, Lumpy Latimer, the professor's wife and many many more.....................  Observational pieces that have
simply become more poignant with time and not lost any of there humour and fascination.

So - a private function, corporate function, community event...........................  you name it!  Trisha can adapt a sequence of sketches to fit the time slot and occassion.
